Hoping to make up for an unfortunately unavoidable lacklustre year in 2020, the 2021 Spring Sporting Season is set to be more exciting than ever. Here at The Range, we think watching sports is the next best thing to playing them. Watching athletes working up a sweat and getting together as a team to win something they’ve been training for can really help you feel motivated to work on your own fitness, especially during Spring when the sun is just starting to come out and you’ll be thinking of ways to get out for some fresh air! So, we’ve pulled together a few of our most anticipated sporting events for this year, so you’ll know what to watch out for.
Date: 20th March
Having already begun in early February, the final of the famous rugby tournament will conclude with Super Saturday on the 20th March. Ireland is set to host England, the current champions, for what’s sure to be a match that will keep you on the edge of your seat.
Date: 21st March – 5th December
Set to start up in March and running all the way through to December, Formula One is the sport of choice for fans of fast cars, adrenaline rushes, and drama. With 23 races coming to your screens from all around the world, we’re supporting Lewis Hamilton in his goal to become the all time leading champion.
Date: 8th – 11th March
With Scotland’s Robert MacIntyre facing up against America’s golfing big-shot and current defending champion, Dustin Johnson, we’re sure this year’s Masters Golfing Tournament will be one to watch for anyone who always finds themselves rooting for the underdog.

One of the classiest sporting events of the year, the 2021 Grand National is sure to bring a rushing excitement to the stands. With 2018 and 2019’s winner, Tiger Roll, returning once again, it’s definitely time to keep an eye on the stakes.
Date: 22nd May
Manchester City might just be ramping up to steal the cup for the third time in a row, but they’ll have to fight United viciously to get it. With women’s football gaining popularity in the last couple of years, this will be The Match to watch for anyone pining after a game of good, classic football.
